My journalism portfolio
My journalism journey started sophomore year of high school when I joined Carlmont's journalism program as a Staff Writer for Scot Scoop. Since then, I’ve continued to write for the publication and have become an Editor for Carlmont’s print magazine, The Highlander. I’ve explored a wide range of topics, from swearing and expiration dates to new legislation, wildfires, and even color vision deficiency. These experiences and stories have taught me what it truly means to be a journalist and have helped me grow as a writer, designer, and editor.
